The Figueroa Trail is a moderate hiking trail in Amistad National Recreation Area in Texas. The Figueroa Trail in Amistad National Recreation Area in south Texas is the longest trail in the NRA. Comprised of one long trail and couple of spur trails, hikers can expect desert plants and abundant wildlife as well as sweeping views of Lake Amistad and the dam. The gentle rolling terrain is perfect for those hikers who wants a more challenging hike in the area. This trail is dog friendly. There is camping available in the Amistad National Recreation Area.
