Emerald Pools Trail is an easy kid friendly hike in Zion National Park that is great for the whole family. This hike starts at Zion Lodge. Follow the paved (Wheelchair Accessible) Lower Emerald Pool Trail until you reach the the junction with the Upper Emerald Pool Trail. From here the trail turns to sand and gravel and has some minor drop offs. There are three campgrounds in Zion National Park. The South and Watchman Campgrounds are located in Zion Canyon. The Lava Point Campground is roughly an hours drive from Zion Canyon on the Kolob Terrace Road.
