The hike to Elizabeth Lake is a popular trek for good reason. This beautiful lake lies at the base of Unicorn Peak. This hike is a great warm up for exploring the Tuolumne Meadows backcountry or simply a great day hike to take the family on while car camping in Yosemite. This hike is kid friendly, but may be too much young children. There is camping available in Yosemite National Park.

History

Elizabeth Lake is named after the niece of a USGS Geologist.
