Elephant Canyon and Druid Arch is a tough day hike or backpacking trip in Canyonlands National Park. This hike is great for those wanting to explore the park’s backcountry. This trail is a very hard day hike, but is an excellent choice for hikers who want to spend a day or two backcountry camping. Water is available seasonally along this hike, but make sure to check with rangers before relying on any water source. Also, remember to carry a good map and protection from the sun. This hike is located in the park's Needles District. Canyonlands National Park has two campgrounds, Squaw Flat Campground in The Needles District and Willow Flat Campground in the Island in the Sky District.
