East Mountain Way Trail is a difficult hike in the Boise National Forest in Idaho. This trail offers hikers incredible views of Round Valley and Long Valley as it meanders through forests and meadows, and ends near East Mountain Lookout. Make sure to pack extra water as there is none available along the trail. A high-clearance vehicle is likely needed to get to the trailhead along FS Road 417F. This trail is dog friendly, also equestrians and mountain biking is allowed on most trails in the Boise National Forest, simply check with rangers or your map prior. This trail is located in the Cascade Ranger District of the Boise National Forest. There is camping available throughout the Boise N.F.
