East Bluff Trail is a moderate hiking trail in Devil's Lake State Park near Madison Wisconsin. This trail is apart of the Ice Age National Scenic Trail and can be steep in places. Hikers can expect to climb roughly 500 feet and will pass incredibly scenic views of the lake, Elephant Rock and Elephant “Cave.” This trail is dog friendly, so long as your furry friend is on leash. Many of the parks trails can be combined to form longer hikes.

History

Devil's Lake State park was founded in 1911 and is Wisconsin's most visited and third oldest state park.
