Dogwood Trail is an easy hike in Mark Twain State Park near Columbia Missouri. This loop hike as yellow blazes and leads hikers through a mature oak-hickory forest on the north side of Mark Twain Lake. In the spring was dogwood blossoms light up the trail and keep an eye peeled for songbirds along the way. This trail is dog friendly, but your four-legged friends must be on leash. Camping is available at Mark Twain State Park.
