Dingmans Creek Trail is an easy family friendly hike in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation that features wonderful scenery and two incredible waterfalls. This hike is located in the northern section of the park. This hike features truly amazing scenery is the perfect choice for hikers traveling with small children or the elderly. The first three fourths of the trail are ADA accessible. The last portion is mainly stairs. Just hikers are greeted by the beautiful Silverthread Falls whose thin ribbon tumbles 80 feet. Along the way hikers will pass by towering hemlocks and thick fragrant rhododendrons that line the boardwalk, which ends at Dingman Falls. The stunning waterfall cascades 130 ft. and is the second highest in Pennsylvania. Dogs are not allowed on this trail. There are campgrounds nearby and a restroom at the trailhead.
