Devastated Area Interpretive Trail is an easy kid friendly hike in Lassen Volcanic National Park that is perfect for whole family to get out and stretch their legs. The park says this "easy walk explains the effects of the Lassen Peak eruptions. Signs along the way explain the Devastated Area its remnants." This hike is a great choice for visitors hiking with young children or the elderly. There is camping available in Lassen Volcanic National Park.
