The hike to Delicate Arch is arguable the most famous trail in Utah. Delicate Arch is synonymous with Arches National Park. The trail is not to long and should be good for children. This is a must do hike in Arches National Park. Keep an eye out for White-throated Swifts which often nest on the top of Delicate Arch. For the best photography hike this trail in the late afternoon. Devils Garden Campground in Arches National Park is located 18 miles from the park entrance and is open year-round.
Delicate Arch was known as "The Chaps" or "The Schoolmarm's Bloomers" by local cowboys.
