The Crystalline Hills Trail in Wrangell St. Elias is a remote moderate hike that whole family will enjoy on a visit to the park. Wrangell St. Elias National Park and Preserve near Anchorage Alaska is as big or bigger than many countries around the world. The Crystalline Hills Trail is unmaintained so it may not be the best hike for those new to the sport or for young kids. Adventurers who choose to hike this trail will be rewarded with amazing scenery, wildlife and wildflowers. The Crystalline Hills Trail is a good test to see if you are ready to go explore the park’s unspoiled wilderness via cross-country travel! There is camping available in Wrangell St. Elias National Park.
