Crystal Lake Trail is an easy kid friendly lake hike in Lassen Volcanic National Park that is a great choice of hikers traveling with young kids or the elderly. The park says this "short ascent winds through forest to this small tarn in a rocky basin." This hike starts a little over a quarter mile north of Juniper Lake Campground. There is camping available in Lassen Volcanic National Park.
