Cruiser Lake Trail is a difficult hike or backpacking trip in Voyageurs National Park that is only accessible by boat. This hike is perfect choice for hikers looking to escape into the park's backcountry. The National Park Service says the hike to Cruiser Lake is your best shot at seeing some of the Voyageurs larger wildlife including moose and perhaps and wolves. The trail travels over the peninsula, up rocky cliffs and down into the park’s remote wetlands passing several beautiful lakes along the way. There is camping available in Voyageurs National Park.
