Notes

Coot Pond Trail in St. Vrain State Park is an easy dog and ADA accessible hike a short drive from Boulder, Denver and Fort Collins. The park says "this one mile trail separates Coot and Pintail Ponds, and has easy access to the designated rock piers for fishing. A peaceful, less populated trail, Coot Pond Trail is very scenic with beautiful views of Long's Peak and the Front Range, as a backdrop to the west. The only sound that may interrupt the tranquility of your walk, will possibly be the sound of our geese as they call out to each other while swimming in the pond." There is camping available in St. Vrain State Park.
