Oakridge Trail is a 7.5 mile moderate hike in Congaree National Park. This trail may be a bit much for very young children. Dogs (on leash) are permitted on this trail. This trail has red blazes. The park says "the Oakridge trail passes through a rich stretch of old-growth forest and is a good choice for those in search of a moderate hike. Along the way, the trail crosses a number of "guts" or small creeks that carry floodwaters into and out of the park. Large oaks abound!" There is camping available in Congaree National Park.
