Cliff Trail is a moderate hike in Delaware Water Gap NRA that features lush forest and a stunning vista. This hike is located in the northern section of the park. This trail leads to an absolutely breathtaking view of the Delaware River Valley from the top of Raymondskill Ridge. Along the way hikers should keep an eye peeled for singing songbirds and other wildlife. For those who want a longer day hike the Cliff Park area has more than 8 miles of connecting trails. This particular trail has white blazes and is dog friendly, so long as your furry friend is kept on leash. There is also camping available nearby.

History

The view from Raymondskill Ridge was used by many early westerns. Early 1900’s movie stars Tom Mix, Walter Miller and Mary Pickford are just a few of those once stood on these very cliffs.
