Caprock Coulee Trail is a moderate hike in Theodore Roosevelt National Park is a great choice for hikers looking for a longer trek. The park says "the first 0.75 miles of this trail consists of the Caprock Coulee Nature Trail. The trail becomes more strenuous as it climbs to the top of a grassy butte, follows a ridgeline with incredible views, and descends back down." This hike is in the park's northern unit. There is camping available in Theodore Roosevelt National Park. The Cottonwood Campground is in the TRNP south unit and the Juniper Campground is located in the north unit.
