Caprock Coulee Nature Trail is an easy kid friendly hike in Theodore Roosevelt National Park that is perfect for the whole family. The park says this trail leads hikers "through badlands terrain and dry washes as you experience a variety of habitats. Take along a trail brochure, available at the trailhead, to learn as you adventure." This hike is in the park's northern unit. There is camping available in Theodore Roosevelt National Park. The Cottonwood Campground is in the TRNP south unit and the Juniper Campground is located in the north unit.
