Buttermilk Falls Trail is an easy family friendly hiking trail in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area that leads to a beautiful waterfall. This hike is located in the middle section of the park. Buttermilk Falls is one of the tallest waterfalls in New Jersey and is absolutely stunning. This hike can be extended by hiking to Crater Lake and Hemlock Pond. Along the way keep an peeled for songbirds and other wildlife such as white-tailed deer and beavers.
