The Buckeye Trail Cuyahoga Valley Section is a strenuous hike in Cuyahoga Valley National Park. This hike is a perfect choice to start section hiking the famous Buckeye Trail. Cuyahoga Valley National Park is very pet friendly, which is not the case for many national parks. Dogs are permitted on trails in Cuyahoga Valley, but they must be kept on leash. The Audubon Society considers Cuyahoga Valley National Park an IBA or Important Bird Area. The park offers incredible bird watching opportunities and is home to more than 200 different bird species. For those looking to stay a while, there is camping available inside and around the park.
