The Buckeye Trail from Alexander Road to Frazee House section is an easy hike in Cuyahoga Valley National Park. This hike is an easy way to knock off a small section of Ohio's famous 1,444 mile thru hike. Cuyahoga Valley National Park is very pet friendly, which is not the case for many national parks. Dogs are permitted on trails in Cuyahoga Valley, but they must be kept on leash. The Audubon Society considers Cuyahoga Valley National Park an IBA or Important Bird Area. The park offers incredible bird watching opportunities and is home to more than 200 different bird species. For those looking to stay a while, there is camping available inside and around the park.
