The Blue Hen Falls Trail is an easy family friendly hiking trail in Cuyahoga Valley National Park near Cleveland. This trail is a favorite amongst hikers in the park. It is short, easy and leads to the incredibly scenic Blue Hen Falls. The trailhead is located off Boston Mills Road, west of Riverview road. A heads up, if solitude is what you think, you may want to look elsewhere. This a very popular hike. Cuyahoga Valley National Park is very pet friendly, which is not the case for many national parks. Dogs are permitted on trails in Cuyahoga Valley, but they must be kept on leash. The Audubon Society considers Cuyahoga Valley National Park an IBA or Important Bird Area. The park offers incredible bird watching opportunities and is home to more than 200 different bird species. For those looking to stay a while, there is camping available inside and around the park.
