Black Locust Trail is a very easy forested hiking trail in Findley State Park near Cleveland. This family friendly trail is also dog friendly, but your furry kids must be kept on leash. The 838-acre Findley State Park is covered with a thick hardwood forest, bursting with wildflowers and wildlife. While hiking keep an eye peeled for abundant songbirds and other wildlife such as white-tailed deer, gray squirrels and chipmunks. There is camping available in Findley State Park for those visitors looking for an extended stay. Findley State Park is also a great choice for winter outdoor recreation.
