The Window View Trail is a very easy hiking trail in Big Bend National Park, Texas. This hike is kid friendly and ADA accessible. The hike starts at the Chisos Basin Trailhead. The park says "this easy, paved wheelchair accessible trail circles a low hill with excellent views of the mountain peaks surrounding the Chisos Basin, and a view through the window. Benches along the trail offer a place to sit and enjoy a classic Big Bend sunset. It is not uncommon to see tracks and scat of black bear, mountain lion, and gray fox along Chisos Mountains trails. Carmen Mountain whitetail deer, rock squirrels, whiptail lizards, spotted towhees, tufted titmice, and Mexican jays are also common in these mountains." As with all trails in Big Bend, make sure to carry plenty of water and sunscreen when hiking. There are three developed front country campgrounds in Big Bend National Park, the Chisos Basin Campground, Cottonwood Campground and the Rio Grande Village Campground.
