Beech Mountain Trail is an easy hiking trail in Acadia National Park that features an incredible view of Long Pond. To get to the trailhead follow the signs from Somesville to Beech Mountain. Nearly 340 different bird species have been recorded in Acadia National Park, including twenty-three different species of warblers that breed in the park. The incredible diversity makes Acadia one of the premier bird-watching destinations in the country. Hikers that watch and listen along the trail will likely spot quite a few. Acadia has five campgrounds.
