Channel Cat Interpretive Trail is a wonderful hike in Bear Creek Lake State Park in Virginia. Hikers can expect great lake views and ample wildlife. Watch out for waterfowl in particular. This trail has green blazes.

History

Bear Creek Lake State Park is on the National Register of Historic Places. It was established in 1938 when approximately 100 members of the CCC built the 50-acre lake.
