Beachcroft Trail is a moderate hiking trail in Acadia National Park that features magnificent views. The trailhead is located on Route 3 at the north end of the Tarn. Hikers can expect rocky open slopes along this trail and it may not be the best for young children. Nearly 340 different bird species have been recorded in Acadia National Park, including twenty-three different species of warblers that breed in the park. The incredible diversity makes Acadia one of the premier bird-watching destinations in the country. Hikers that watch and listen along the trail will likely spot quite a few. Acadia has five campgrounds.
