Baskins Creek Falls Trail is a moderate kid friendly day hike in Great Smoky Mountains National Park that leads to a beautiful waterfall. The falls tumbles about 40 ft. tall and is not nearly as popular as other waterfall hikes in the park, making this hike a great choice to beat the crowds. There is plenty of camping available in Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
Baskins Creek Falls is named after a hunter who lived in the area name Bearskin Joe. Over the course of time the vernacular evolved into Baskins.
