Bar Harbor Shore Trail is an easy hiking trail just outside of Acadia National Park that features incredible views. The trailhead is located at the Bar Harbor Town Pier. Along this scenic trail hikers can expect incredible harbor and island views. Nearly 340 different bird species have been recorded in Acadia National Park, including twenty-three different species of warblers that breed in the park. The incredible diversity makes Acadia one of the premier bird-watching destinations in the country. Hikers that watch and listen along the trail will likely spot quite a few. Acadia has five campgrounds.

This trail was originally created in the 1880s.
