The Rimrock Trail is an easy hiking trail in Balcones Canyonlands National Wildlife Refuge near Austin, Texas. This hike is kid friendly. Balcones Canyonlands is a National Wildlife Refuge was formed to conserve habitat for two endangered songbirds including the Golden-cheeked Warbler and the Black-capped Vireo. The refuge is a short drive from Austin Texas and provides ample opportunity to see a spectacular array of wildlife.
