Azalea Springs Loop Trail is a moderate hike in Big Hill Pond State Park that's a hidden gem for hikers and backpackers in southern Tennessee. This trail is dog friendly, so long as your furry kids are on leash. The park says Big Pond State Park offers "thirty miles of overnight and day use trails with four backpack trail shelters can be found on the park. Five miles of hiking trail and two shelters lies south of the railroad. This is within our hunting area. Trail map available upon request." There is camping available in Big Hill State Park.
