The Artists Paintpots Trail is an easy kid friendly hike in the Gibbon Geyser Basin of Yellowstone National Park. This hike is a great hike for those travelling with small children. The trail passes by fumaroles (steam vents), colorful hot springs and pools as well as boiling mud pots. From the hillside hikers are greeted with sweeping views of the paintpots, Mount Holmes and the Gallatin Range. There is camping throughout Yellowstone National Park.
