The Appalachian Trail: Grayson Highlands Section is a moderate. But hikers have roughly a thousands miles north or south if they like. Grayson Highlands is one of Virginia's best bouldering areas. The park has more than 700 named problems. If you are lucky enough see a Wild Horse, remember use common sense. Do not feed them, they are WILD and do not approach, they will bite and kick if they feel threatened. The AT has white blazes. Dogs are welcome, but me on leash. There is camping available in Grayson Highlands State Park.
