The Appalachian Spur Trail is a very easy point to point trail that leads to the famous Appalachian Trail. Grayson Highlands is one of Virginia's best bouldering areas. The park has more than 700 named problems. If you are lucky enough see a Wild Horse, remember use common sense. Do not feed them they are WILD and do not approach, they will bite and kick if they feel threatened. This trail has blue blazes. Dogs are welcome along this trail, but me on leash. There is camping available in Grayson Highlands State Park.
