The Angel Rocks Trail is a relatively easy day hike close to Fairbanks Alaska in the Chena River State Recreation Area. The trail is steep in some places but overall is both family and dog friendly. Keep an eye out for granite Tors, which formed as much as 90 million years ago when molten rock pushed upward but hardened before reaching the surface. Erosion has slowly exposed them. This trail makes a great choice for snowshoeing during the winter.
Entrance Free, Parking Fee
