The All Purpose Trail is a moderate family friendly hiking trail in Cuyahoga Valley National Park near Cleveland. The trailhead is located on Gorge Parkway about four tenths of a mile northwest of Egbert Road in Cleveland Metroparks Bedford Reservation. There are other access points as well. Cuyahoga Valley National Park is very pet friendly, which is not the case for many national parks. Dogs are permitted on trails in Cuyahoga Valley, but they must be kept on leash. The Audubon Society considers Cuyahoga Valley National Park an IBA or Important Bird Area. The park offers incredible bird watching opportunities and is home to more than 200 different bird species. For those looking to stay a while, there is camping available inside and around the park.
