YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK, Calif. – If a spring trip to Yosemite National Park was in the works, try and do it in the next few weeks.  Recent thunderstorms and rain showers are sending Yosemite’s snowpack plummeting into the valley. The San Francisco Chronicle reports Yosemite Falls, Vernal Falls, Nevada Falls and Bridalveil Fall are approaching peak flow.  Snowpack in the area is hovering around a much needed 90 percent of normal. You can check out what Yosemite Falls looks like anytime of the day by visiting the Yosemite Conservancy live stream of Yosemite Falls.
