The number of people heading to our nation’s first national park is down so far this year.
According to the National Park Service visits through May are down 5.6 percent compared to 2016. The NPS credits late spring snowstorms for the drop.
While fewer people have arrived so far, it is still the second busiest May on record at Yellowstone.
