Body found in Grand Canyon National Park

Grand Canyon, AZ- The National Park Service has located a body below the rim on the Rim Trail, between Pipe Creek and Mather Point.

The park service reports that the body was found last Friday (November 10) at approximately noon and is believed to be that of Michael Legus, 39 of Tooele, UT. Mr. Legus was reported missing on October 31.

An investigation is being conducted by the National Park Service and the Coconino County Medical Examiner.
